I believe my sweet Maggie's life is coming to an end. During the past few weeks, she has become weaker, losing her balance, eating less, drinking more, falling down the stairs, losing a noticeable amount of weight, sunken eyeballs, smells rotten from the inside, and keeping her tail between her legs. This breaks my heart to see my sweet Maggie be this way. She is sleeping about 23 hours per day. I know that I'll need to make a very hard decision in the near future. I've made these decisions before with Melanie and Ginger (my Viszla and Boxer). I will not let Maggie suffer in pain and discomfort.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet Maggie. This is the difficult part of being a pet lover, but they bring so much to our lives it's worth the pain of losing them when it's their time.
So sad! Always a hard decision but I am like you....i hate to see dogs suffer (or humans!)
