Zoo Animals

For Father's Day, The Girls and I spent the day at the zoo, again. Yes, we were there last Sunday too. We saw the same animals and went to the same bird show. Natalee was awake and watching all the birds this time. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. I just couldn't help but get the Girls an animal. Charlee picked this Elephant with extra large feet and a small little Leopard for Natalee. They love them both.

Charlee was tired....

...and not in the mood to take this pictures

"Now, this goes in my mouth, RIGHT"

I love having a zoo pass. It's great. We can spend the day or just a few hours with out worrying about getting our money's worth out of a day pass.

Happy Father's Day

The Cousins

They are growing up so fast. They will be here in one week and 12 hours. We are counting down.

Charlee's New Talent

Charlee's newest talent is picking up things with her toes and now writing with her toes. She actually good at this. Amazing!!!!!

School Wounds

Charlee received these lovely wounds at school yesterday from a "boy" wanting the ball that Charlee was playing with. What is up with Charlee getting ouches on her face? Do I need to keep a plastic surgeon on call every weekend.

Ladybug Drama

Last night I was feeding Natalee in the rocking chair in her room. Charlee had set-up her Ladybug blanket for story time. If you didn't know, Charlee's Ladybug blanket is her favorite and never wants to be away from it. It is her security. Well.......

Natalee all of a sudden threw-up all 4 oz of her bottle all over the place. She was covered in liquid vomit. My shirt and shorts took a huge hit and it was running all over the place. In my panic, I grabbed the closest thing.....THE LADYBUG BLANKET.

As soon as Charlee realized what I did....the water works began. She was crying so hard that the tears were soaking her shirt, she could hardly breath, and she was MAD at me.

So while I'm trying give Natalee a bath, get her dressed, settle her down, take a shower myself, and clean up the dirty clothes and blanket....Charlee is still crying and wanting her Ladybug blanket. I offered her everything but she just wanted her blanket. I even offered that the next time she throws up, I'll grab Natalee's blanket but that didn't help.

Finally when she was in bed with her other Star Blanket (second best blanket), she asked if I was going to wash the blanket. "Of course" and "It will be as good as before". She finally stopped being upset and was happy again.

LADYBUG DRAMA!!!!!!

I hope nothing ever happens to that blanket or I will be in the dog house forever.

Wheeler Farm

Yesterday (Yes the computer was acting up again so I couldn't post until I fixed the problem, again) I got to take the day off so the Girls and I, along with Tiffany, Eliza, Solomon, Lisa, and Tate spent the day at Wheeler Farm.

The Stroller Gang

Wheeler Farm is my new fun place. We can't wait to go back again.

The Big Sister

We took advantage of the break in the stormy weather and decided to play outside with the play house. Charlee loves it, great investment. She cramped everything that she could think of inside.

Charlee is kissing her baby but it looks like she is a vampire.

Yes, all of this stuff plus more does fit inside the playhouse.

Natalee turns three months old

Natalee turned three months ago (yesterday, camera battery died so I was unable to post last night). These are pictures of Natalee on our back swing. She loves it....I can't believe that three months ago she was placed in my arms and had the longest night wondering if she was going to be ok.

As you can tell, she is a healthy and happy little girl. She loves to laugh and talking up a storm (baby talk).

My sleeping little girl.

This is my first video off of my little camera but you just have to hear your voice.

A good weekend

Charlee, Natalee, and I had one major goal to accomplish this weekend.....NO facial injuries....well.....

We DID IT!!!!!!!! We did have an injury, Charlee pinched her fingers in her toy stroller. No blood but alot of tears.

We had a great day at the zoo on Sunday. We got caught in a down pour but found shelter in the Asian Cat Exhibit. We were able to get a break in the weather to see the Bird Show. Charlee loved it and Natalee slept the whole time.

I also received a letter and pictures from Natalee's birth mother, birth father, and half brother. The letter and pictures brought me mixed emotions. I haven't had time to process my emotions but I'm glad to have pictures to give to Natalee when she grows up.

I Love My Girls.

Natalee's Tight and Shiny Curls

Natalee has the tightest and shinest hair....

"Yep, I'm still bald in the back"
.....She was talking up a storm while I was getting these pictures.
