Growing UP!!!!

Even though Natalee is not officially one years of age, I decided it was time to turn her car seat around. She is well over 20 lbs and will be one next week. I think she likes it. Mommy likes being able to see her without the use of mirrors.

Charlee also likes having Natalee sitting face forward.

Return To Duty

I've been cleared for duty on March 25th.

I went to the surgeon today for my 6 week check up. He discovered what was causing all my pain, discomfort, and "popping" sound. A "suture clip" was ripping through my tissue causing the popping sound. He was able to remove the clip in the office without any problems. It looked like a BB Pellet. How can a small piece of metal cause so grief? The suture clip typically doesn't cause any problems. It just stays were it is suppose too, doesn't move, and stays with you until you die. Rarely, does it cause problems.

Just my luck.....I'm the rare case. That is my life.

Best Friend

This weekend I moved Natalee into Charlee's room and turned Natalee's room into a toy room. They love it and so does Mom. The girls are best of friend. The move has been great. All the toys in one area which makes for easier clean up.

A Trip to Idaho

The Girls and I took a trip to Idaho to see Aunt Von, Uncle Matt, & the Kids. We celebrated Charlee's birthday and an early gift for "S".

Sweet Maggie

I believe my sweet Maggie's life is coming to an end. During the past few weeks, she has become weaker, losing her balance, eating less, drinking more, falling down the stairs, losing a noticeable amount of weight, sunken eyeballs, smells rotten from the inside, and keeping her tail between her legs. This breaks my heart to see my sweet Maggie be this way. She is sleeping about 23 hours per day. I know that I'll need to make a very hard decision in the near future. I've made these decisions before with Melanie and Ginger (my Viszla and Boxer). I will not let Maggie suffer in pain and discomfort.

I snapped these photographs this morning.....

Watching your dog become old is the hardest part about being an dog lover.

Natalee's First Braids & Beads & Snap

Tonight I braided Natalee's hair into 6 tiny braids then added some beads and a snap (I couldn't thread the beads and was to tired to re-braid). I need alot of practice and Natalee's hair needs to be a little longer. The braids were small and hard to handle.

She sat in her highchair while watching My Little Pony with Charlee. She did great but she was ready to get out by the 6th braid.
