Chinese New Year Party

Today the Girls and I were invited to a Chinese New Year Party. As you can tell there were a few China Dolls (all around 4-6 years old). We had wonderful food, especially the BBQ Pork Steamed Dumplings and yummy desserts. Charlee made a beaded necklace and Natalee explored a new house. GREAT Times!!!!!!

So far, the year of Tiger is bringing us Good Fortunes.
The pictures were not the best. Something was crazy with my camera. I may need to do some shopping for a new one.

Natalee's is scheduled for surgery

I wanted to let everyone know that by this time next week, Natalee will not have anymore crocodile tears running down her face.

She is scheduled on Wednesday the 17th at Riverton Hospital-Primary Children's Surgical Center to have the stents placed into her tear ducts. A five minute procedure.

I'll keep you posted.

A visit to the dentist

Yesterday, Charlee went to our great dentist, DR. MARK.....

Charlee climbed into the chair, got positioned, and open her mouth wide. "Teeth are crowded but look great" Asian children have a tendancy to have small teeth. In about 4 years or so she will need some teeth removed to make for more room but nothing right now.

Charlee picked Raspberry flavor for her cleaning and did great. She said it "tastes good".

After she was all done, the best part of all is that she got a new Disney Princess toothbrush, Tinker-Bell sticker, and a bouncing ball.

Natalee watched her big sister so she'll be good when it is her time. I asked DR. MARK when he wants to see Natalee, "Wow 8 teeth already"...."6 months".......

....She'll have to wait until January 2011 because I didn't add her to my dental insurance policy.

Two week post-op visit

Well, it will be two weeks tomorrow since my surgery. I thought I would be further in my recovery.

I saw my doctor today, "I thought you would be further along, too" probably slower healing because of my diabetes. No signs of infection, healing well, but just slow. What I thought was a bladder infection is actually bladder spasms because of the manipulation he did during surgery. This is usually gone by now but it will not last forever.

He wants be to contiue what I'm doing and see him in another month. If at the 4th week post-op (return to work time), I'm not fully recovered, he may extend my leave of absense.

Sneezing is painful, and coughing is worse. This will be all worth it after I'm fully recovered.

How do women have babies and go home to care for them full time? Especially, after a C-section.
